Argentine Tango

There is an wise old saying that clearly depicts the roles of macho man and  wiley woman, " The man thinks that he is in charge. the woman allows this to be so, when it suits her purpose."

 

Argentine tango is traditionally about the macho Gaucho who leads his partner around the dance floor, strutting his prowess to his fellow Guachos.

 

Tango is a dance where the leader composes the dance routine and then relates it, nove by move, to the follower. When the leads are good and the follower accepts them, a beautiful dance is always the result, no matter how simple the choreography.

 

When the leader make a poor lead and the dance falters, it is obviously the leaders fault.

 

When the follower uses the wrong step, it is still the leaders fault for not leading well.

 

When the follower chooses to ignore the lead, for whatever reason, it is still the leader's fault.

 

The leader thinks that he is in charge, the follower allows it to be so, when it suits!
